"All that each person is, and experiences, and shall ever experience, in body and in mind, all these things are differing expressions of himself and of one root, and are identical: and not one of these things nor one of these persons is ever quite to be duplicated, nor replaced, nor has it ever quite had precedent: but each is a new and incommunicably tender life, wounded in every breath, and almost as hardly killed as easily wounded: sustaining, for a while, without defence, the enormous assaults of the universe."
~James Agee
In other news, I crashed my bike again last night but got away with only an acre of immensely stinging road-rash and a pumpkin-sized bruise. (bah!) Everything hurts, but not in a for-12-weeks way. Also I need to write a response paper. Also the semester is almost over and how did that happen? Also things are still as tough as always (maybe recently a bit tougher) and I still need prayers.

God bless you. Thank you for posting that quote. I am just passing through and do not know why you are having tough things but I will pray for you this night.
limonchika here-- I'm so sorry you're going through a rough time. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask, ok?
Hello Aimee,
just read you post - much love and prayers coming your way.

Oh, Kiddo:..
Do be careful, is it possible thee might take the bus at the crunch time at the end of semesters? Might thee think of ride time as a centering down, to be completely in the moment of watching the road, a moment away from papers and exams?
Prayers with thee of course, and do be careful...

PS How is Jeff's mum doing? Prayers for Jeff and his family as well.
I'm new here - to blogspot and to Quakerism - but I feel your pain, to use a horrid cliche. And yes, I'll pray for you. Good luck with all your stuff.
Ouch! I'm glad you escaped with no more harm than bumps and bruises, but still -- you may want to stop crashing your bike.
Thanks for posting the quote. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
Amanda--
Shame on me for having such a narrow focus these days.... I'll point to my heavy committee work and the "remote care" for my parents as they deal with some health concerns. So I'm glad I have had a chance to do a "blog check" and could read your news. I know it's been a tough fall for you and I'll be more mindful of holding you in my thoughts and prayers.
Blessings,

Prayers you got.........helmet and a good set of leathers wouldn't hurt either, eh?

Be kind to yourself........
