When I do sleep, I have intense dreams. They are always very specific. These days they are often medical, which I think is a combination of my hopes for medical school, my general physical health, and a sense of continuing healing/sickness around my emotional life.
I had a very detailed dream about having leukemia last night. And it was so matter of fact. I just went in, was diagnosed and listened to what they told me I'd have to do. Then I sat down and rolled up my sleeve and got the IV push of drugs while watching some sort of historical romance movie on a tiny, tiny television. And then I went and laid down outside. I felt spinny, like I'd had too much to drink or had stood up too quickly. The ground was damp but the sky was blue, and I closed my eyes to rest. And then I opened them and I was awake.
Very strange.

I've been having odd dreams too, mostly about which job to choose and where ot move. Maybe it's the weather? I do hope you are doing better, your idea about photocopying your head made me LOL!
At least your health situation was a lot better when you woke up!
Hope your week goes well. I always enjoy reading your blog.
There are cultures where children are taught to have good dreams. One gets in the right mood, don't go to sleep without a plan, plan to be happy, and choose good dreams, plan for good dreams ... and it usually happens. Anyone else have info on planning for good dreams?
=)
