"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.
And you know the place where I am going...
I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me; because I live you also will live.
On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me and I in you...
I have said these things to you while I am still with you
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all I have said to you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid...

Deep in this Christmas season, I wish you whatever consolation and encouragement you need as you start the year ahead.
God bless, Amanda!
Dear Friend:
This passage never really spoke to me. Frankly, years of prolonged profound loneliness, rather than just short periods of temporary loneliness, hopeless loneliness of knowing that thee will always be left out of like around thee is not a spiritual shortcoming, and passages such as this tend to add an element of spiritual failure to the icy chill of being one of societies outcasts. There are other aspects of Yeshua's ministry that help ... to a degree, but I think that loneliness is a thing that is ... oh I don't have words to explain.
Bright and joyous new year to thee and thine

David says my sentiments so plainly:
I wish you whatever consolation and encouragment you need...
You are in my thoughts.
