I have so much good stuff to blog about, especially my wonderful trip to visit Jeff and Cambridge meeting last weekend, but I'm still pretty tongue-tied for whatever reason.
For anyone in New York who's interested, our band, Sorcha Dorcha, will be playing some amazing traditional Irish music tomorrow night at the Half King Resteraunt on 23rd street at 7pm. All friendly blog-stalkers welcome.
In the meantime, here's a beautiful, scary prayer I read today...
God give us rain when we expect sun.
Give us music when we expect trouble.
Give us tears when we expect breakfast.
Give us dreams when we expect a storm.
Give us a stray dog when we expect congratulations.
God play with us, turn us sideways and around.
Amen

Hi! Quick note to let you know that I've added your blog to my links list at my newly created Quaker blog, and would welcome you as a reader and possibly a more experience Quaker guide as I explore my faith. :) I read your blog regularly via RSS Feed, and I welcome advice or comments.
Hey Amanda. You've been away from the blogosphere for awhile, it seems like. Not like you, to not see comments and posts from you... Just wanted you to know I notice your absence, Friend to Friend, and I hope you'll be back soon. Your voice, your ministry is missed.
Blessings,
Liz
