I am at the crisis of the movie Roman Holiday
Can you believe I've never seen it before?
I just wanted to record that this is the very moment in history that I am breaking my heart over the best movie ever, which I have never seen before but know will have a wonderful ending.
Gregory Peck's resolve is shattering before my very eyes.

Try "It happened one night." Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. Similar setup to Roman Holiday. When Clark Gable forgot to wear his undershirt (vest) during filming sales of said garment plummeted overnight.
Anyway, the black and white gives it an extra romantic feel. This is the movie that had me hurtling down the journalism track for a long while. Considering reentry after serious detour.

My God, Simon, I died at the end of Roman Holiday. I never expected such sweet, solemn restraint. Having been raised on a disgusting diet of Meg Ryan claptrap, I didn't know a romantic comedy could be so graceful.
OK, so I need remedial help with this posting thing. I posted once and nothing showed. So I try again. And nothing. And then there were three!
